THE BRIEF

The merger of Helius and Audacity Labs, both powerhouse non-profits focused on entrepreneurship in the Triangle, presented a unique opportunity: to create a unified brand that not only honored their combined legacies but also ignited a grassroots movement for entrepreneurial transformation. They needed a name and brand that would:

  • Reflect their commitment to tangible community impact.

  • Articulate their vision of breaking down barriers to business ownership.

  • Establish a strong, inclusive identity to resonate with diverse entrepreneurs.


THE STRATEGY

With grassroots entrepreneurial transformation at the heart of our work, we worked closely with echo’s new board and stakeholders to build a visual and verbal identity. The name ‘echo' symbolizes the amplified community voices and the ripple-effect of local entrepreneurship. The logo—built from their signature 'e'—visualizes the continuous community impact and support. We wove their promise of inclusivity and innovation, alongside their vision of barrier-breaking ownership, into key messaging message. Finally, the 'Build. Succeed. Repeat.' tagline serves as both a promise and a call to action for their program participants and staff.
